Change of guard in AICC likely after Parliament session ends

New Delhi: There is likely to be a reshuffle in the All India Congress Committee after Parliament session ends on June 11, according to sources.
Sources say Congress President Sonia Gandhi is believed to be working on the reshuffle.
This comes after the Congress's colossal defeat in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections with the party ending up winning only 44 seats.

Congress leaders have maintained that Sonia Gandhi or party Vice President Rahul Gandhi alone cannot be blamed for the Congress's defeat. The two had reportedly offered to resign after the party's defeat but the party leaders rejected their resignations.
